Hi, I'm Gab!
During the week I am a professional but "cool" high school English & Drama teacher. When I'm not at school, I enjoy tending to my plants, coaching rowing, participating in the occasional tap lesson and cooking delicious food!

I am very knowledgable and experienced with animals of all kinds. I have personally owned dogs, a cat, birds, a horse and many fish.
​
I grew up in an animal loving family. My sister, a wedding celebrant (Becky Married Me), owns my adorable fur-nephew Eddie (pictured) and fosters rescue animals.
I used to work an animal and rural produce store where I dealt with livestock (cows, goats, sheep, pigs and poultry), reptiles, small animals (rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs) and of course, our little feline and canine buddies.

So, you can be sure that your animals is in capable, loving hands!

Being a high school teacher I deal with teenagers all day... so rowdy animals are not a problem for me.
I promise to always provide quality and professional service with kindness and a smile.

MY PETS
I personally own two little angels - Ginny the cat and Bacardi the horse - who light up my life every single day. But there are a number of other pets who make up my family!

George- My Family's Beagle x Frenchie (5 y.o.)
George is a bouncy ball of energy who enjoys walks, a game of tug of war and a good rassle with his cousin Eddie. His favourite treat is chicken and he sleeps underneath the doona and acts like an electric blanket.

Ginny Cat- My Rescue Kitty (2y.o.)
I adopted Ginny from the RSPCA in Feb 2019. She had been there for 6 months! I can't imagine why people would overlook her- she is the sweetest most loving feline. She enjoys only one brand of dry biscuits (and the occasional taste of my vanilla milkshake), morning sunshine, licking my arms and being scared of birds and lizards.

Bacardi- My majestic and crazy pony (6y.o.)
I acquired Bacardi battered and bruised from inland Australia when she was a yearling and have since fattened her up and had many adventures including but not limited to: riding into the sunset, riding into the sunrise, riding into a dam and emerging no longer in the saddle, jumping over shadows and trying to avoid rain drops.

Larry Bird- Little household demon in disguise (3y.o.)
Larry is a lorikeet, who surprised us with a gender reveal in the form of an egg. She enjoys cups of tea, screaming and playing with bottle caps and keys. She recently has taken up the hobbies of chewing on wall cornices and ruining my plants.
